Swipe Right on Your Next Home Thanks to This Handy App

Tinder may be the latest big thing in dating, but will its iconic "swipe right for yes!" translate to real estate? UPTOP, a new smartphone app for prospective movers, bets so. Available in June for New York City residents hunting for rentals, the app invites its users swipe right on listings they love and dismiss the ones they hate by swiping left.

Right now, the app is a bit limited, but even if you're not looking to move within the Big Apple, it's always fun to window shop. And here's hoping that homes for sale make it to the app soon along with expanded coverage areas, because anything that makes the stressful house-hunting process easier and more fun — even if it means taking cues from a dating app — is fine by us.
