Tessa Neustadt When it comes to celebrity blogger Emily Henderson's designs, we've come to expect eclectic patterns, fabulous accessorizing, and, as a result, shameless jealousy — and her daughter's nursery is no exception. As soon as you walk in, you'll feel like you stepped into Narnia thanks to the forest wallpaper ($$, rebelwalls.com)  Henderson used to create murals on both sides of the room. Stay safe this season — and don't let Pinterest get the best of you. Getty Don't Let Christmas Lights Become a Safety Hazard In order to have a safe holiday, always inspect lights for any loose bulbs or protruding wires. Secure lights so there aren't any loose ends that could be tripped over, and make sure to use cord covers if you have young children or pets. Getty Don't Go Overboard With Baubles When it comes to seasonal decor, less is often more. Sticking with simple decorations will save you time and money. Rather than a clutter of holiday craft projects, try an artful decorative accent, like your favorite ornaments arranged in a bowl. Getty Don't Expect Things to Be Perfect Holidays are stressful enough. Instead of fretting about the charred turkey, broken antique ornament, or mess of wrapping paper, recognize that no matter how much you plan ahead, something will go wrong. So take a deep breath, relax, and grab another glass of eggnog. Getty Don't Ke

12 Fascinating Things You Didn't Know About Buckingham Palace

Edward the Confessor owned the village that stood there before the Norman Conquest, and Henry VIII reclaimed it for the Crown in 1531. When James I was on the throne in the early 1600s, he planned to plant a mulberry garden to rear silkworms, but used the wrong variety and had to abandon his grand idea. 2. It's named after a politician. John Sheffield (of the Tory party) became the Duke of Buckingham in 1703, and he built Buckingham House as a place to stay during his visits to London. It was given the ultimate makeover and transformed into a palace in 1820 by architect John Nash — who was subsequently fired for going over budget! 3. The house passed into Royal hands in 1761. George III paid $$,784 ($.7 million now) to buy it for his wife Queen Charlotte, who gave birth to all but one of their 15 children there. However, Queen Victoria was the first monarch to name it as her official residence when s
