You Will Want Everything in Emily Henderson's Stylish Nursery
Tessa Neustadt
When it comes to celebrity blogger Emily Henderson's designs, we've come to expect eclectic patterns, fabulous accessorizing, and, as a result, shameless jealousy — and her daughter's nursery is no exception.
As soon as you walk in, you'll feel like you stepped into Narnia thanks to the forest wallpaper ($$, rebelwalls.com) Henderson used to create murals on both sides of the room. She paired the statement wall art with simple furniture and accessories, like a mostly white changing table ($$$,target.com),crib ($$$, target.com), shag rug ($$$, luluandgeorgia.com), and a daybed filled with neutral pillows — including a white unicorn throw ($$, target.com).
Green is the dominant color, but to fill in the details, Henderson opted for more traditional soft pink accents, like the ears on the plush unicorn ($$, target.com), a cozy throw, and a pillow — all of which soften and provide a subtle dose of sweetness. Many pieces in the room are from Target's new Pillowfort kids' line, including that too-cute unicorn, which Emily describes as "gosh darn perfect." Keeping with the scheme, an olive green rocking chair (hello, gorgeous) balances out the walls with the rest of the soft decor, like light green linen curtains and pillows (loomdecor.com).
Though we have to admit, as much as we love the design, it doesn't hold a candle to her daughter — those cheeks!
