Three IKEA Lamps Have Been Recalled

IKEA is known for making affordable – and stylish – home decor, but today, they're making the news for a less savory reason. 

According to The AP, the Swedish furniture retailer is recalling all three models of its Gothem  lamps – two table lamps and one floor lamp – as they could cause electric shock. Though the lamps appear to function normally, damaged cables in the lamps create a potential safety hazard.

The lamps were sold in stores and online between October 2015 and February 2016. IKEA will give a full refund to any customer who returns a lamp to the store.
